Seniors, children, families and veterans in need of nutritious food will be provided Farm Share food packages free of charge. Each household received fresh fruits and vegetables, canned and dry goods, frozen meats and more.
Last year, Farm Share provided more than $40 million in food to over one million Florida families in poverty. Most of the food is distributed through a community network of church food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior centers, and veterans groups.
