Farm Share Teams Up with the Department of Children and Families to help the Crawfordville Community
Crawfordville, FL- Farm Share teams up with the Department of Children and Families to offer free health screenings and food packages to people in need of Wakulla County.
The event will be hosted at the Harvest Fellowship Church on Shadeville Road in Crawfordville. There will be several organizations at the event providing health screenings, free tax preparation, medical information provided by Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, energy tips and information by the City of Tallahassee, and Insurance resources. Farm Share will also provide nutritious food to seniors, children, families and veterans in need free of charge. Each household will receive fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen meats, bread, and more.
Last year, Farm Share provided more than $40 million in food to over one million Florida families in poverty. Most of the food is distributed through a community network of church food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior centers, and veterans groups.

Farm Share will give fresh, nutritious food to families in need at the event.
