Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a federally funded food distribution program designed to help improve the health of low-income seniors by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA commodity food totally free of charge. Farm Share is a proud administrator of the CSFP Program in Florida, furthering our mission that no Floridian goes hungry. 

HOW TO QUALIFY?

Organizations with a 501(c)3 designation may apply to become a Farm Share Agency and offer the CSFP Program if they serve lower-income seniors who meet the below eligibility requirements. Floridians described below may apply to receive CSFP Program services from participating Farm Share agencies.

Must be a senior (60+)

CSFP is built to be a resource to help low income seniors receive nutritious USDA commodity foods for free. Must be 60 years of age or older to qualify.

Provide photo ID & proof of age

 Florida Residents living within Marion, Union, Alachua or Flagler counties. 

 

Photo ID and proof of age are required to participate in and be eligible for CSFP

Meet the income guidelines

Recipients must have gross annual incomes at or below 130% of federal poverty guidelines
